Biennium Savings from Shared Personnel
Joining the TC3 consortium provides community colleges with significant cost savings and dedicated technical support. Member institutions benefit from access to two database programmers—one specializing in the consortium’s ERP system and the other in its payment management system—as well as an executive director who oversees system implementation and carefully reviews invoices to ensure all discounts and services are properly applied. Over, the biennium, the value of the 4,664 hours of expert support provided by this personnel would cost approximately $862K if contracted independently. However, because of the consortium’s collaboration, these services are available for only $248K from the collective consortium, resulting in savings of over $600K. By joining TC3, colleges gain high-quality, specialized IT and financial oversight at a fraction of the cost, allowing them to allocate resources more effectively to support institutional priorities and student success.
